Preparations

Before beginning your reflection time, check to see that you have a Bible near you, and perhaps a journal. If you need reading glasses, a pen, or even a cup of coffee, gather those before beginning. Take a few moments to quiet yourself - deliberately letting go of the many distractions around you. Slowly read through today's reading. Then take some time to reflect on any or all of the questions presented. You may have only a few moments to sit and reflect or you may have an open-ended period of time. Either is fine.

Readings

1 Cor. 13: 1-13

Reflection Questions

In the end, God is most interested in how well we love.

What relationships in your life are most demanding when it comes to "love never gives up"? Is there something you could do today for one of those relationships? What do you most need from God to be able to love that person more?
